How often should I service my e-bike?

One way to find out how often your e-bike needs service is to check your owner's manual, which you will receive upon purchase. If you don't have it, you can find it on the manufacturer's website. Your owner's manual may recommend servicing after a certain number of miles or kilometers of riding, which varies from model to model.

However, it is recommended to take your bike for service after 1,000 to 1,500 kilometers. This is every 600 to 900 miles.

If you don't ride your bike often and take it out for a quick spin on weekends and holidays and store it properly, you can take it in for a service once a year. However, if you use it frequently and ride in extreme weather conditions, you may need to take it in for service more often than the standard recommended calls. For example, you might want to take it in for service after 500 miles.
